What is Flora Tea?
Flora Tea is a hand-tied bundle of first-pick green tea tips wrapped around dried edible flowers — a Flora Tea heart. When boiling water meets the heart, the leaves unfurl and the flowers inside open up, turning the glass into a small living bloom.
What temperature should the water be?
100°C — straight from the kettle. The boiling water is what wakes the heart and lets the flowers rise.
What water should I use?
Filtered water only — for the full Flora Tea experience. Hard or chlorinated tap water dulls the aroma and clouds the cup; filtered water lets the flowers and tea show their full character.
What glass should I use?
We recommend our Signature Crystal Glass — specially designed for the full Flora Tea experience. Any clear, heat-safe glass or teapot will work, but our glass is balanced for the bloom.
Are the flowers real?
Yes. Every Flora Tea heart contains real, food-grade dried flowers — jasmine, lily, marigold, rose, lavender, osmanthus, globe amaranth, carnation or coconut fibre depending on the blend. We don't use artificial colours or flavours.
Are Flora Tea hearts gluten-free / vegan?
Yes — all hearts are naturally gluten-free, vegan, and contain no allergens.
How much caffeine does Flora Tea contain?
Around 25 mg per glass — roughly a third of a coffee. Low enough that most people enjoy it in the evening without sleep disruption.
