Jasmine

Jasmine sambac is the variety used in fine tea. Flowers are picked just before sundown when the buds are about to open, then layered with green tea overnight. The cool tea leaves absorb the warm jasmine perfume — a process repeated up to seven times for the highest grades.

Sweet, heady, with a soft creamy mouthfeel. The aroma is the dominant note.
